We are one of the leading Placement Consultants in Bangalore city. One of our Clients is a Retail Consultant and Analytics Firm having its offices in US and India.

Company list of clients, range from the large retailers in the US to family owned retail businesses in India. They focus on providing customized solutions in market analysis and strategy development for entrepreneurial ventures. They help retailers discover the science of analysis through appropriate statistics and Math formulae, which would give effective business solutions.

Presently they are looking for candidates at Bangalore Office for the Analytics Division. REQUIREMENT IS VERY URGENT.

BUSINESS ANALYST

Location : Bangalore

No. of jobs : 3 nos.

Salary : Rs.1,60,000/- to 1,80,000/- per annum

Experience : 1 year to 3 years

Job Description:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing excel based logical models that the retail clients will be able to use to increase their productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind with an expertise in using MS-Excel, MS-Office applications and some level of expertise in statistical analysis. In addition the candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills. The candidate should also be detail oriented organized and reliable. A strong performer in the analyst role is expected to grow in the role of a consultant who will eventually devise strategies for entrepreneurial ventures.

Responsibilities:

· Develop product category structures to enable accurate demand modelling

· Develop Excel based analytical models for clients

· Assist in profiling and prioritising new market opportunities

· Participate in team meetings to provide ideas to achieve the goals of the clients

· Work with developers to create applications that will address retail clients

Minimum requirements:

· College degree in business or marketing with 1 to 3 years of experience

· Expertise in Using MS-Excel and other MS-Office applications

· Detail oriented and able to work well independently as well as a part of a team

· Demonstrated written and oral communication skills in English

· Expertise with the use of Visual Basic/ Sales or SAS is desired

Preference will be given to candidates who are good in Excel
